Workshops

Overview

Authoring Action educator training workshops can be brought to any location, or arrangements can be made to host workshops at our headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC (Close to Piedmont Triad GSO and CLT airports). Our staff will meet with you before the workshop to determine the topic and purpose of the workshop. The delivery is curated to your professional, personal and presentational needs. 

The educator training workshop at minimum is one full day; ideally two full days. We are also fully capable of developing a multi-day guidebook experience for those interested in conferences or retreats. 

Our staff will take participants through the curriculum from introduction, through discussion, practice and execution. 

To earn a certificate in the Authoring Action Signature Creative Writing Process, the two-day training is required, followed by two phone call sessions and observance in the classroom by the Authoring Action trainer(s).

Program Fees

School Group Sessions

On location/In person:

  • Presenter fees include 2 trainers - total $2000 per day

  • Materials including the guidebook

  • Lodging and per diem food expense

  • Transportation  (mileage if in the region - air travel if necessary)


Virtual Group Workshops: $2,000 per day

  • Presenters Fees/Materials/Administrative support

Authoring Action HOSTs virtual Workshops for middle/high school teachers-

1 DAY - WORKSHOP - learn the Authoring Action Creative writing process - via ZOOM PLATFORM - $145.00 individual fee

2 days - Learn to Teach the Authoring Action Creative Writing Process - via Zoom Platform - $290 individual fee

TIME - 9AM-4PM - (includes two 15-minute breaks and 30 minutes for lunch)

  • Presenter(s) fees

  • Administrative Support

  • Guidebook (pdf/hardcopy upon completion)

  • 1 hour follow up coaching session

AUTHORING ACTION Headquarters. Per Individual teacher - costs include:  $195 per day

  • Presenter(s) fees

  • Materials including the guidebook

  • Catering Expense

All participants are responsible for their own lodging, meals and transportation.
